Yael writes:

“At the program I was exposed to a fascinating world, with roots in Buddhism and with long branched arms, touching body-mind and favorably influencing the fields of psychotherapy, education, culture and the cultivation of most enlightened social values. I learned that for me practicing mindfulness and the mindful state equals living a healthy life style. The changes resulting from such practice are profound and of utmost significance; changes in the sense of self, in relationships, in interpersonal communication and in the establishment of existential meaning. Today, from a holistic perspective, I maintain that mindfulness has a place in western medicine such as do nutrition and sports in the prevention and treatment of sickness and aliments. The Mindfulness Based Therapy offers a unique, experiential, pleasurable and profound course of study.  The teaching includes practice, exposure to Buddhist texts, to current research and to research-based therapeutic approaches. I find the teachers inspiring and an amazing example of walking the talk with determination, effective action and great modesty.”
