My Year of Practice

An in depth mindfulness practice course

This  course  has been offered for the past 5 years, as a special opportunity to explore the practice of mindfulness as a year-long process of study including 8 Monthly meetings and three weekend retreats. The process is being led by Maty Lieblich and another instructor each year, and centers around a main theme. This enables many participants to continue their studies in the course as an ongoing process of growth and study. Among the Instructors of the past years we are happy to have had some of Israel’s well known practitioners – all of which have both academic and mindfulness backgrounds. This year The course Theme is: Mindfulness and Narrative writing. Professor Amia Lieblich, one of the founders and leaders of the Narrative field in Psychology is  a co-instructor in the course.

The retreats take place in the village of Neve Shalom – a multicultural village dedicated to exploring and developing an Arab and Jewish community.

Some of our Instructors in the past courses were: Maty Lieblich, Shantam Zohar, Dr. Keren Arbel, Professor Amia Lieblich, Lila Kimhi and Dr. Galya Tanay. This year the course explores the theme of writing and mindfulness.
