The Institute of Mindfulness-Based Therapy is committed to the in-depth exploration, study and development of mindfulness practices and Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy. We offer integrative programs of study and professional training hosted by several academies throughout the country, all dedicated to the responsible practice of mindfulness on the personal, clinical and societal levels.

Established in 2012 by institute directors Maty Lieblich and Shantam David Zohar, our three year, post qualification Mindfulness Based Therapy Program is hosted for the first two years of study by the Bar Ilan University School of Social work with the third, clinical year taking place at the Institute. Members of our fifth class have currently entered the training, thus joining the growing community of graduated practitioners. The program is a full member of the Israeli Interdisciplinary Council for Psychotherapy.
